Waiting Area

Our spacious lobby is a warm and inviting area for you and your four legged babies to wait. Bright and open, patients are welcome to walk on the grounds outside, or snuggle up to their owners on our chairs as they await their upcoming appointment. Have some coffee, hot tea, or hot chocolate while you wait. We brew it fresh everyday.

As you enter the lobby, you will see a large area off to the right for our canine patients to wait. To your immediate left is our quiet little nook specifically made to keep our feline friends out of sight of the dogs!

Exam Rooms

We have six spacious examination rooms that our doctors use for all of their daily appointments: Three on the west side of the building for our canine patients, and three on the east side of the building for our felines.

Our canine examination rooms offer lift tables-which is great on everyone’s backs! No more lifting Fido onto that stainless steel table! Our feline examination rooms are quite cozy-with specially made tables that are smaller and more comfortable for our feline patients. We aim to please!

Treatment Room

The treatment room is where all the action takes place at an animal hospital. Blood work, intensive care, even simple nail trims and ear cleanings are performed in this room. Right now, we have four treatment tables with overhead lighting; two of the tables can be used primarily for “wet” treatments such as dentals, hydrotherapy, ear washes, etc., because of their attached sinks.

Surgery Suite

We have a large surgery suite located right off our treatment room for quick access. It is spacious enough to perform multiple surgeries at the same time, if necessary. Pulse occimeters, heart rate monitors, the laser surgical unit, heated surgical tables, and the rest of our anesthesia and surgical equipment reside in this room.

Pharmacy

We have a huge pharmacy at 96th Street where we keep your pets antibiotics, eye medications, ear medications, dewormers, etc that you won’t or can’t pick up from the human pharmacies. We take calls for refills on your pet’s medications all throughout our office hours, either for you to pick up when convenient or we can mail them to you.

Pet Salon

Lauren, our certified pet groomer can make your dog or cat look beautiful! Having your pet professionally groomed keeps their coat and skin healthy and makes your pet feel good. Plus, Lauren has a trained eye to let you know if your pet has more lumps and bumps than normal, if the ears look like they need attention, or if there are skin issues that need help.  Lauren would indeed know what to look for–she worked for us as a Veterinary Assistant before she went to Pet Grooming School!  We are so thankful to have her.

She can bathe, dry and cut your pet’s hair all out of this room–and let us tell you, the hair really flies in there! Lauren is available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.   As of December 2011 she is only available part time as she is attending college too.   Feel free to give us a call at 228-0645 to get your pet scheduled.
